Miss Venezuela Faddya Ysabel Troisi is Miss Tourism International 2014; Philippines as 2nd runner-up

Miss Venezuela Faddya Ysabel Halabi Troisi was crowned Miss Tourism International 2014‬ at Putrajaya International Convention Center in Precinct 5, Putrajaya in Malaysia on December 31, 2014. She bested the other sixty-one (61) delegates from around the world. Miss Philippines Glennifer Perido won second runner-up (or the Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2014 title).

Angeli Dione Gomez from the Philippines won the title in 2013 back-to-back with Rizzini Alexis Gomez, also from the Philippines, in 2012. Both are from the province of Cebu and both have the same surname, Gomez, but are not related. The first Miss Tourism International crown for the Philippines was won by Maria Esperanza in 2000.

As the 18th edition of Miss Tourism International since it started in 1994, it was Venezuela's first win in this pageant. However, there was no pageant held in 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997 and 2007.

This is the pageant's second edition. The first winner was Miss Bahamas Shequera Grace King.

Miss South Africa Rolene Strauss is Miss World 2014; Miss Philippines in 17th place

Miss South Africa Rolene Strauss was crowned Miss World 2014 which was held at ExCel London Exhibition and Convention Centre on December 14, 2014. Strauss bested other 120 candidates. This is the second biggest roster of candidates ever in the history of Miss World; the biggest of which is Miss World 2013, having 127 candidates in all. Miss Hungary Edina Kulcsar won as 1st princess, while Miss USA Elizabeth Safrit is the 2nd princess.

Miss Vietnam is Miss Southeast Asian 2014; Miss Philippines - 1st runner-up

Miss Vietnam Thu Vu was crowned Miss Southeast Asian 2014 which was held at J.P. Grand Ballroom, J.P. Emerald Hotel in Yasothon, Thailand on December 13, 2014. Miss Philippines Precious Nicolle Diloy won as 1st runner-up and Miss Thailand Praethara Charoenkullachoy clinched the 2nd runner-up spot.

Miss India Asha Bhat was crowned Miss Supranational 2014 in the coronation night which was held in Krynica-Zdroj, Poland on December 5, 2014. Miss Thailand Parapadsorn "Pia" Disdamrong won as 1st runner-up, while Miss Gabon Maggaly Omrnellia Emmanuelle Nguema is 2nd runner-up.

This is the pageant's 6th edition. Bhat won against 70 other beautiful contestants. Miss Philippines Mutya Datul won as Miss Supranational 2013.

BOYHOOD kicks off December screenings at Commercenter Cinemas in Alabang

Miss Thailand is Miss Intercontinental 2014; Miss Philippines places 2nd runner-up

Miss Thailand Patraporn Wang was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2014 in the coronation night held at Maritim Hotel, Madgeburg, Germany on December 4, 2014 evening (December 5, 2014 3am in the Philippines). Miss Cuba Jeslie Margal won as first runner-up, while Miss Philippines Kris Tiffany Janson clinched the second runner-up spot.

Wang bested all the other 71 contestants in the 43rd edition of Miss Intercontinental. The Pageant started in 1971 only as a teen pageant.
