Miss Intercontinental 2018: 87 Official Candidates

The Philippines welcomed the gorgeous eighty-seven (87) candidates of the 47th Miss Intercontinental (2018) to be held at various locations, including Manila, from January 8 to 27, 2019. It is the first time that Philippines is hosting this pageant.

Miss Earth 2018: 90 candidates; celebrates 18 years of Beauties for a Cause

Another season of beauty and responsibility is underway as Miss Earth marks 18 years of promoting environmental awareness. Ninety (90) delegates from across the globe have made their way to Manila, each one poised to work towards a sustainable living.

The 18th edition of the premier beauty and environmental event promises to be another year of learning, sharing, promoting the beauty of their respective countries and their advocacies.

Miss World Philippines 2018: Full List of Winners

Katarina Rodriguez was crowned Miss World Philippines 2018 at the coronation night held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Katarina bested other 39 candidates from across the country.

Katarina Rodriguez represented the Philippines in Miss Intercontinental 2017 where she placed as first runner-up after being crowned Miss Intercontinental Philippines 2017 at the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 pageant. She rose to fame after placing third in Asia’s Next Top Model (Cycle 2) in 2014.

Mutya ng Pilipinas 2018: Full List of Winners

 

Sharifa Akeel of Sultan Kudarat was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas-Asia Pacific International 2018 at the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 Grand Coronation Night held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on September 16, 2018. Akeel bested other 49 candidates from across the country. She is competing straight for Asia Pacific International 2018 this week to be held in Manila.

Miss World Philippines 2018: 40 Official Candidates

After winning in international competitions from last year’s batch of Miss World Philippines candidates, this year’s batch will have to contend with the mounting pressure and expectations from pageant fans and critics alike.

Binibining Pilipinas 2018: Full List of Winners & Finalists

Catriona Gray was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2018 at the 55th Coronation of Binibining Pilipinas pageant held on March 18, 2018 (Sunday) at 7pm at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City, with a delayed telecast via ABS-CBN Channel. Gray beat other 39 gorgeous candidates.

Gray was also crowned Miss World Philippines 2016 and finished as a runner-up in Miss World 2016.

Jehza Mae Huelar was crowned the Binibining Pilipinas-Supranational 2018 title. This is the third straight time she joined the Binibining Pilipinas pageant. She first competed in 2016 where she placed 2nd runner-up, and landed only in the Top 15 in 2017.

Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters is Miss Universe 2017; Philippines - Top 10

Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was hailed Miss Universe 2017 held at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States on November 26, 2017 (morning of November 27 in the Philippines). As the 66th edition of Miss Universe, Nel-Peters bested the other 91 candidates from across the globe, surpassing the previous record of 89 contestants in 2011 and 2012. 

Miss World Philippines 2017 Winners

Laura Lehmann was crowned Miss World Philippines 2017 held at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on September 3, 2017. The pageant had a delayed telecast via GMA Network.

Mary Ann Mungcal from Pampanga is the newly crowned Miss Global Philippines 2017 held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila on June 24, 2017. Mungcal bested 21 other beautiful candidates and will represent the Philippines at the Miss Global 2017 pageant later this year.

The Asia's Next Top Model Cycle 5 is approaching the finals. In Episode 10 (June 7, 2017), Cindy (Taiwan) was saved from elimination. Host Cindy Bishop announced the coming of Xiao Qing, a model & fashion designer from China, who was added as a disguised contestant. What the Top 5 models don't know is that she actually came as an undercover judge. So they know that they are now Top 6.

Maureen (Philippines) got 1st place this Week 8 (May 24, 2017) with 45 pts from the scores of the challenges and the photo shoots. It was a good result to slap others in the face, those who doubt her skills as a model. They are Shikin (Malaysia), Tu (Vietnam) and Clara (Indonesia).

Miss Global Philippines 2017: 22 Official Candidates

The twenty-two (22) official candidates of Miss Global Philippines 2017 were presented to the media on May 18, 2017 at West Avenue Suites Hotel in Quezon City. Finals Night will be held on June 24, 2017 at Resorts World Manila hotel in Pasay City.

Miss Global Philippines 2016 and Miss Global 2016 1st Runner-up Camille Jensen "CJ" Hirro will crown her successor at the finals night on June 24, 2017. The program will be aired on GMA-7 in July.

Pilipinas-International 2016 Kylie Verzosa (Miss International 2016 winner), Bb. Pilipinas-Intercontinenal 2016 Jennifer Hammond (Top 15, Miss Intercontinental 2016), Bb. Pilipinas-Supranational 2016 Joanna Louise Eden (Top 25, Miss Supranational 2016), Bb. Pilipinas-Grand International 2016 Nicole Cordoves (1st Runner-up, Miss Grand International 2016), and Bb. Pilipinas-Globe 2016 Nichole Marie Manalo (3rd Runner-up, Miss Globe 2016).

Miss France Iris Mittenaere is Miss Universe 2016

Miss France Iris Mittenaere was declared Miss Universe 2016 at the grand coronation night held at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines on January 30, 2017 (8:00am in the Philippines; January 29 evening in USA). Mittenaere bested other 85 contestants from across the globe.

Hosted by Steve Harvey for the second time, this is the 65th edition of the pageant. Model Ashley Graham served as the backstage/behind-the-scene host.

Miss Universe 2016-17 - Preliminary Competition (Full Video)

The Preliminary Competition of Miss Universe 2016 was held at SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City (Manila, Philippines) on January 26, 2017 (Thursday) at 7:00pm (Manila Time). The program was hosted by Filipino actor Derek Ramsey and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.

Miss New Zealand Ariel Pearse is Miss Tourism International 2016/17

Miss New Zealand Ariel Pearse was crowned Miss Tourism International 2016/17 held at the coronation night at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel in Sepang Utara, Malaysia  (south of Kuala Lumpur) on December 31, 2016. Pearse won over 59 other contestants from around the world. The duration of the competition was from December 12, 2016 to January 1, 2017.

There was no competition for the year 2015-16. Miss Tourism International 2014/15 Faddya Ysabel Halabi Troisi of Venezuela crowned the new queen.

Miss Puerto Rico Stephanie Del Valle is Miss World 2016; Philippines in Top 5

Miss Puerto Rico Stephanie Del Valle was hailed Miss World 2016 at the coronation night held at MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill in Maryland, United States of America on December 18, 2016 (3:45am of December 19 in the Philippines). Del Valle won against the other 116 candidates from all over the world. The candidates' competition journey started on November 26.

Miss Dominican Republic Yaritza Reyes won as 1st runner-up, while Miss Indonesia Natasha Mannuela clinched the 2nd runner-up spot.

Miss India Dimple Patel is Miss Globe 2016; Miss Philippines Nichole Manalo - 3rd runner-up

Miss India Dimple Patel was crowned Miss Globe 2016 held at National Open Theater in Tirana, Albania on November 25, 2016. Patel bested the other 59 beautiful candidates across the globe. Patel is the first Indian to win the title. She was crowned by Miss Globe 2015 Ann Lorraine Colis of the Philippines.

Miss Colombia Yenny Carillo won first runner-up, while Miss Albania Kristina Skurra clinched the second runner-up spot.
