The Likhaan: UP Institute of Creative Writing’s (ICW) Panayam Lecture Series returns this month with “PAGSULAT PARA SA MASA: ISANG BALIK- AT TUNGONG-TANAW SA ISANG PAG-IBIG” by award-winning writer/critic and College of Mass Communications Dean Dr. Rolando B. Tolentino. The lecture will be held at the Claro M. Recto Hall, Faculty Center on March 6, 2013, 2:30 p.m.

Looks Like A Perfect Mess: A Story Behind Buying Books


I acquire good and rare books almost every week. I don't have anymore space for all my books. But there's a story wrapped in every buying.

Around mid-August 2012, I saw an interesting book that caught my attention at Bestsellers Bookstore (sister company of National Bookstore) at Robinson's Galleria: LOOKS: Why They Matter More Than You Ever Imagined by Gordon L. Patzer, PhD. Harbound at PhP350. It's still expensive for me for a bargain price. Originally it's PhP1,245 that became PhP700.
