The Archdiocese of Caceres and Our Lady of Fatima Association proudly present Simon's Way, dubbed as ‘the biggest theatrical event in Bicol's history,’ from March to May 2011.
Simon's Way is an original Filipino cine-musical with book, music, lyrics and direction by Ferdinand Dimadura. Interspersed with film, the musical tells the story of a Franciscan brother named Simon Vela who was chosen by Our Lady to search for her missing image. For five long years, Simon searched every mountain and cave in Western France only to find the missing statue in the mountain of the Peña de Francia near Salamanca, Spain in the year 1434. Almost four hundred years later, Father Miguel Cobarrubias brought the devotion of Our Lady to Naga City.

Browsing can never be this exciting!
Mozilla has upgraded its internet browser with the worldwide launch of the new Firefox 4 on March 22, 2011 (evening in Manila, Philippines). All technologies now keep on developing and improving for ease and convenience, and for us to enjoy a richer online experience. Based on Youtube videos, Firefox started its beta stage since 8 months ago. It only goes to show how serious Mozilla is to give us one of the best (if not the best) browser in the land just to prepare it for 2/3 of a year. Amazing, isn't it?

Cirque du Soleil, a popular international performing group will visit Manila, Philippines with its live touring production entitled Varekai premiering June 22, 2011 for a limited engagement under the blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (Big Top) located at the Luneta, across Quirino Grandstand. It will be shown until
I first learned about the group from my friend, Pamela Agaloos, in 2005. We were both teaching then at De La Salle University (Manila) and I was looking for some materials I could use for my Art Appreciation class. So she told me to check out Cirque du Soleil. Then I found some good finds at a video store and bought 2 DVDs at different times. I was stunned upon seeing the video of these amazing performance artists! I was flabbergasted at the display of outstanding talents - with all the dazzling costumes and spectacular stunts. This is a must-see in Manila this year!

Everyone needs a home. I still dream of having my own house. And it's a sheer delight to see beautiful houses with every space carefully designed by architects and interior designers. I was fortunate to have been invited to a tour of the Avida properties in Cavite and Alabang on March 13, 2011. Cavite is a coastal province south of Metro Manila. It is the birthplace of our country’s independence where Emilio Aguinaldo, Philippines’ first and youngest President (at age 21) waved a large flag on June 12, 1898 to signal officially our country’s freedom.
