When I first discovered Pinterest in 2012, I got so interested in this platform because of the many possibilities with regard to sharing and learning by "pinning" or "repinning." The platform coined its word from the words "pin" (like pinning or tacking something on a corkboard or whiteboard) and "interest."

1:23 AM
Cock, Red Turnip Theater's second offering, will be having its Manila premiere at Whitespace located at 2314 Chino Roces Ave. Extension (formerly Pasong Tamo Extension) in Makati City on March 7 to April 6, 2014. Opening gala night will be held on February 28.
[Please check the full schedule & ticket details below.]
SYNOPSIS
What happens when a young gay man falls in love with a woman? That’s the central conceit behind Red Turnip Theater’s second offering, COCK by Mike Bartlett. A sold-out hit when it first premiered in London in 2009 and subsequently during its off-Broadway run a year later, COCK revolves around a gay couple whose rocky relationship derails when one of them sleeps (and falls in love) with a woman. Debates over one’s sexual identity explode when all three decide to sit down and “duke it out” over dinner. Hilarity ensues when another unexpected guest turns up and loyalties are put to the test. As one character puts it, “It’s the ultimate bitch fight.”

Under the direction of Peter Jenny, Switzerland’s first consul in the Philippines, official relations between the two countries was launched and, today, the Swiss community in the Philippines is the second largest in Asia and Switzerland is one of the Philippines’ top 10 investors.

The Language of Island Rose

Not all roses are created equal. There are roses that only live for a day, and there are some that can live for a week. Given a climate that is more conducive to pests and tropical heat than luscious, blooming petals, it's hard to express heartfelt sentiment and let the flowers do the talking. Despite this, Island Rose, the country's largest grower and wholesaler of European roses have managed to keep the gesture of sending roses to friends and family alive.
