Marketing scene before the pandemic
Before the pandemic, every business, big or small, has invaded the online world creating an insurmountable amount of noise, which made it difficult for other brands, especially small businesses and start-ups to get attention on the internet largely. Due to a very tight competition online, only a few names get it to the top of every scene.

Brands that indulge in self-promotion also turned off a lot of consumers which made them to be extremely skeptical about the brand. This lead to the rise of demand for innovative digital marketing strategies and the quest for an alternate approach has compelled brands to appreciate the power of influencers. Since then, influencer marketing started to be a favorite among digital marketers and business owners and a significant amount of time and resources were invested by brands into executing successful influencer marketing campaigns.
