 C.
Why did you join Misters 2015?
JT: I joined Misters for the purpose to spread out my advocacy. True beauty is all about being distinct to your own ethnicity and culture. It is to love your Filipino lineage to work with the given. In line with that, I heard the news last year about a Cop with a humble beginnings winning the prestigious title. He is an inspiration to simple people. I dream of becoming one too if fate would permit me too.

What's your inspiration/ motivation in joining pageants like Misters 2015?
JT: My inspiration is to showcase the Filipinos as they are born to make the Philippines proud. Nowadays, Philippines is known for 3 things, Showbiz-Beauty queens and Call Centers. I want to use this temporary limelight to promote that being Filipino is all about the HEART that we give which is a testimony of our Character.

What kind of preparation do you do for Misters 2015?
JT: To be honest with you, I didn’t have a consistent work out regimen as a have daily work too. But since last year I told myself that I would be joining a competition. I mostly did prayers as it really gave me jitters. To please guide me in giving out my best from the 1st casting til present. I just became myself.

What are the pageants have you joined so far (both local and international)?
JT: The only pageant I joined was in UP Educ. It was a small Pageant within the college handled by UP EDSOC (UP Education Society) showcasing 4 orgs in the College. I represented the UPSEC (Up Special Education Council). With God’s grace I won Mr. Personality, Mr. Talent and Mr. Eduk 2008

 D.
What do you consider the sexiest part of your body and/or face? Why?
JT: Heart – it is where true things come from. It is something that makes a difference from the life of others.

What is your best asset? Why?
JT: My best asset is the ability to learn life lessons. Capturing life lessons is tantamount to fulfillment. Through this you will be able to share them to others. To self actualize is the highest form of satisfaction that a human could get accdg to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Food, sex, shelter and fame belong to the basic needs, you may satisfy them at one point but contentment can never be attained.

Which part of your body (or face) would you like to improve on? Why?
JT: To be honest with you, I used to have insecurities about improving my eyes, my jawline and my nose for a western look. But all things changed when I met, Sir Ruben Defeo, my Art Professor in UP. I could never forget what he said about beauty is being distinct to your genetic mainframe - “To work with the given.”

Right now, I don’t like to change my face anymore. Whatever is given to you, you improve them naturally. The body I want to sculpt is like an art craft.

Brief or boxer shorts?
JT: Any of the two, it really depends upon the motif and requisites of the shoot as long as it is artistic.

Your romantic ideas about love:
JT: To love someone is about being selfless. True things start from the heart not from the mind. To be romantic is all about doing what your heart says in the sense that you don’t hurt people along the way. The Heart is your genuine self while the mind gives reason to the heart.

When you love someone, you give up even your dreams not because that woman asks you to make a choice. But because you love her and nothing in this world matters. “Es gibt keine andere fur mich, eins nur” (There’s no other woman for me, only you.) ☺

JT: It is the power of strength. It has the power to lift heavy objects literally hehe. It will give you the power to help people, to uphold justice.

With great strength, you reach the level of a majesty which serves as an example. To strive hard, work hard and serve as an inspiration to the hopeless.

JT: To be happy is to find goodness in everything. Every bad happening that occurs in your life is an opportunity to learn something valuable. To find optimism in a pessimistic situation. To be happy is to love yourself and constant communication to God. To serve the people around you without other people knowing it.

Rank the following words from the most important (#1) to the least important (#5):
LOVE  FAMILY  GOD  MONEY  SEX

1.God – the founder of Love
2. Love – the feeling of sharing your life to others.
3. Family – it is a relationship you have to your bloodlines and even to unfamiliar persons as well.
4. Sex – a intimate act showcasing mixture of cultures, hard to resist realistically speaking but by maturity done at the right time and at the right situation (marriage).
5. Money – this is a necessity but money is meant to be spend. It is completely different from personal relationships with people.

 I.
What is your favorite motto or quotation?
JT: My personal motto is: "The very essence of life is to serve a purpose, without purpose life is pointless."; Disney’s Hercules: "A hero’s strength is measured by his heart."

What qualities of a person that stand out for you?
JT: First of all I don’t want to stand out because I want to be IN. hahaha... kidding aside, I think because I am weird and I am crazy :) I don’t discriminate people, I talk to anyone.☺

What qualities of a person that disappoint you?
JT: I really get disappointed to plastic people. I hate fake people. Those people who are nice to you in front but say something at your back. I really hate liars. If you lie to me and I find out about it, nawawalan ako ng tiwala sa tao.

If you were a thing, what would you be and why?
JT: Book. It is where you get immortalized. When people attain knowledge, they keep it for the rest of their lives and one day they share it to others.

JT: Perfume, deodorant, Soap, Shampoo, Atm, extra clothes, Coins scattered all over the bag for emergency use, extra socks, extra brief, water bottle, toothbrush, toothpaste

If you are given US$1 million, what will you do with it and why?
JT: There is a saying, "Sa unang trabaho mo, ibigay mo sa pamilya mo yung unang sahod mo." But I learned from one friend, na for every blessing, ibalik mo kay God. Sa US$1 Million, I don’t know kung magkano man but I want to give it to under privileged people. I also want to create a business in the Philippines, a big business that would provide more job opportunities to people. Service-oriented jobs like junk shops, recycling company, barbershop, tutorial center, a mini restaurant, a weights gym, a business setting where Special Children can work as normal people.

The remainders, I want to visit Greece and see the statues of the demi-gods and gods of Olympus. To share moments with the person you love.
