An abusive son went amok in front of his family at the dinner table during their Thanksgiving celebration recently. He felt embarrassed for the kind of prayer his father did and he did not want to cooperate to say grace and the things he must be thankful for. I think it's just about deep-seated pride that eats us up whole. This guy seems to do things without giving much thought of the consequences of his actions.
Worst part is when he got so furious that he turned the 2 long tables. All the food the family prepared for this once a year celebration just got wasted. He totally went berserk! I wonder if he regretted his actions after and if he apologized to his family and relatives for ruining their Thanksgiving and for wasting the food.
