An abusive son went amok in front of his family at the dinner table during their Thanksgiving celebration recently. He felt embarrassed for the kind of prayer his father did and he did not want to cooperate to say grace and the things he must be thankful for. I think it's just about deep-seated pride that eats us up whole. This guy seems to do things without giving much thought of the consequences of his actions.
