The Business of Football – Philippines Conference sets roadmap for the sport's growth in the country

The recent success of The Azkals, with their Asian Cup qualification, and their FIFA ranking at its highest at 111, has given football a renewed confidence, and a positive outlook in terms of the growth of the sport in the Philippines.

Riding on the heels of the historic Asian Cup 2019 qualification the Philippine Men’s National Team, more popularly known as The Azkals, the Philippines is set as the perfect venue for the upcoming “The Business of Football - Philippines,” a one-day Conference.

Meralco launches One Meralco Sports website portal for 3 sports teams

Meralco has launched the One Meralco Sports website, a page that unifies all three Meralco sports teams — the Meralco Bolts in the Philippine Basketball Association, Loyola Meralco Sparks in the United Football League, and the Meralco Power Spikers in the Shakey’s V-League — under one portal.

Held at the Meralco Orange Fit Center on May 20, 2015, guests were given a virtual tour around the new online portal. Attendees were also avle to interact with Meralco's coaches and athletes.

Goooal!: The Real Madrid Foundation Clinic | April 19-May 2, 2015

It’s a fundraising event like no other before by Fundación Santiago in collaboration with the Fundación Real Madrid. It’s “Goooal: The Real Madrid Foundation Clinic.”

This two-week football training for the youth and for football coaches will happen in a span of 12 days from April 19 to May 2 in Metro Manila and in Negros Occidental. Goooal! participants will be trained by the best coaches from the Real Madrid C.F. youth team in Spain on individual technique and tactical team training.

The Pilipinas Aguilas team will have a friendly match against the Raiders (Australian State Team) at the Havoc in Manila event happening on August 16, 2014 (1-5pm) at Emperador Stadium, Mckinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. 

The Raiders will also train our National Team training pool and share their knowledge and expertise on football. This collaboration will help our players grow in experience to prepare for the upcoming 2016 IFAF Asian official games to be participated by 8 countries.

"The World Is Ours" is the official anthem song of 2014 FIFA World Cup that kicked off on June 12. The theme is about celebrating the exciting sports game and how it unifies the countries and cultures across the globe.

The song is also known as "Todo Mundo" (Brazil) or "La Copa De Todos" (Latin America).
