Call for Fellows: 1st Parañaque Writers Workshop (2026)

The Parañaque Writers Workshop opens its first-ever call for fellows. We are looking for emerging writers who already have a body of work and are ready to put it under close, generous, and rigorous reading by peers and mentors.

About the Workshop

The 1st Parañaque Writers Workshop brings writers together to share drafts, receive thoughtful critique, and grow their craft in a supportive community. Fellows will present their work for discussion, learn from fellow writers, and leave with revised pieces and lasting connections.

Workshop proper: November 21, 2026

Number of Fellows

Six (6) to seven (7) fellows will be selected for this inaugural workshop.

Applicants must:

• Be at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of application.

• Have existing literary works. Applicants must already have written pieces (such as poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, drama, or other literary forms), whether published or unpublished.

• Be able to attend the workshop session

Application Guidelines

Please submit the following in a single PDF or Word document:

• Writing sample: 3 to 5 poems, or a short story or essay of up to 3,000 words

• Short bio: [100 words

◦ Statement of intent: A brief note on why you want to ioin the workshop and what you hope to gain from it (100 words)

• Contact information: Full name, age, address, email, and mobile number
