Filipino culture prevails at the first-ever Sharp Fun Run For Every Juan held in Alabang


Sharp Philippines Corporation (SPC) in partnership with RED Sports by RED Entertainment recently held the first every Sharp Fun Run For Every Juan last March 17. The whole grounds of Pacific Rim at Filinvest, Alabang was filled with thousands of runners who surely enjoyed the classic Filipino experience.


Furthermore, participating runners had the opportunity to immerse themselves in a truly Pinoy atmosphere. Cultural performers Ang Nuno Dance Troupe gave everyone a glimpse of history with their impressive performances of the country’s cultural prides Singkil, Tinikling and Pandanggo Sa Ilaw.

Of course, to make the event more entertaining, the famous Higantes Festival from Angono Rizal and the amazing stilt walkers took part at the event, giving a Filipino circus feels.


Meanwhile, kids really enjoyed playing the classic Pinoy games like Piko and Sipa even before the start of the main event. In addition to that, Filipino delicacies like the dirty ice cream and banana cues surely added some excitement to all the runners.


As  the highlights of the event, National University (NU) Pep Squad, the 6th-time UAAP Cheerdance Champion, showcased breathtaking stunts and smooth dance moves.


Sharp Angels, of course, complemented the prior performances with their dance performance—a combination of sexy and nippy execution is must watch.


The awarding ceremony for the four (1K, 3K, 5k, and 10K) categories and exciting raffle draws concluded the event. A total amount of Php100, 000 worth of home appliances (rice cookers, electric kettles, washing machines, and LED TVs) have been given away to lucky winners.
