The Top 10 Books for a Rainy Day



When the weather outside is grim, there is no better way to banish the gloom than with a good book. Slipping within the pages of any one of the ten (10) novels below allows you to slip into another world or another time, so each one provides an excellent escape from miserable weather. Choose one of them to enjoy a holiday wherever you happen to be.

1.  The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
Escape from foul weather with a visit to the land of hobbits, elves, dwarves and other legendary creatures in Tolkien’s classic work of fantasy.
