Amity's birthday at Reyes Barbecue

Amity Young, a blogger, celebrated her birthday at Reyes Barbecue at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig on November 29, 2010. I got to eat at Reyes Barbecue for the very first time.

I love eating barbecues - especially if dipped in spicy vinegar! Happy birthday, Amity! Thanks to my friend, Jayson Biadog for tagging me along. :)

Each blogger introduced him/herself to the group, what our blog site is and what do we usually blog about. It’s interesting to meet new bloggers who share the same passion.

We were served with pasta, barbecue and iced tea. Some friends ordered sweetened banana (or saba kind of banana). It’s really good because the cooked sugar is just on top of the sliced banana (including the skin). When I saw it, it gave me an idea what I could do at home. It’s very easy to prepare. It’s better cooked if the sugar is fully melted on top.

We were given a gift certificate of P200 (consumable only on that day) and we could order anything we want. I ordered 2 Cheeseburgers - 1 for my baon at work, and the other 1 for my parents (they just have to share). hehe... I wanted to order a meal, but since I was already full and I had to go home to sleep (had never slept yet that whole day because of night shift work) and I wanted to bring something for my parents, I opted for the cheeseburgers because it’s easy to bring it home.

Blogger Jonel Uy also gave a talk on the etiquette of blogging - writing online, attending events and relating with other bloggers. It was very informative! This guy really is an expert!
