PAP holds Printmaking Workshop this Summer

Printmakers Association of the Philippines (PAP) holds Printmaking Workshop this Summer 2010. Learn the basics in making fine prints using varied printmaking techniques this summer. The workshop is designed for beginners and those who have tried printmaking and want to refresh the processes in making fine prints. 

The course covers rubbercut, collagraph and drypoint, but will also allot a session for monotype printing and will also include color enhancement through chinecolle.

Workshop will be conducted by Benjie Torrado Cabrera and Ambie Abaño.

Duration:  April 21 to May 14, 2010  
Days:  Wednesdays and Fridays
Time:   8:00 am to 12:00 noon
Venue:  PAP Workshop, Rear of Folk Arts Theater, CCP Complex, Pasay City
Workshop fee:  Php 5,500.00 including materials

If interested, you  may reserve slot by sending an e-mail of your request to pinoyprintmakers@gmail.com.  Please include your full name, cell phone number and/or landline number.  We will send text or call you 2 days before the start of classes to confirm your attendance.

Payment may be done in 2 installments as follows:  Php 3,000.00 on the first day of classes, April 21, Wednesday, and the Php 2,500.00 on the fourth meeting, April 30, Friday.

Certificate of attendance will be issued by the PAP on the last day for all participants who finish the course. PAP workshop is located at the rear of the Folk Arts Theater in CCP (Cultural Center of the Philippines) Complex.
