Catch Sine50 in 3 cinemas | September 11-17, 2023


The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is proud to launch "Sine Singkwenta," in line with the celebration of the 3rd Philippine Film Industry Month this September.




Sine Singkwenta is FDCP's initiative to encourage Filipino viewers to go back to the cinemas and enjoy once more the communal experience of watching a film on the silver screen, along with other moviegoer, for a very affordable price of PHP50.00.




For its initial offering, "Sine Singkwenta" boasts a lineup of award-winning films from the Philippines, South Korea, and Japan. Catch any of these films from September 11 to 17 in SM Southmall, TriNoma, and Robinsons Galleria.

FDCP and SM Cinema to launch Cine Lokal with President Duterte


The Film Development Council of the Philippines, in partnership with SM Entertainment will launch Cine Lokal on April 19, 2017 with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte as the Guest of Honor. The event will be held at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. The Philippine premiere of Director Mel Chionglo's award-winning film, Iadya Mo Kami, will follow the program, simultaneous with the screening of  Academy Award Best Picture for 2015, Spotlight

FDCP and SM Cinema support indie films through Cine Lokal


The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) and SM Cinema launched Cine Lokal — a new cinema line that will house independent, award-winning films and FDCP programs in select SM Cinema branches across the country starting April 2017. This project was created to strengthen its commitment to support the Philippine cinema and to reach a wider audience.
