TV5 launched new shows on Late Night Trip

In line with the station's Happy One Year celebration, TV5 is brimming with a lot of fresh and innovative shows—unveiling another roster of hip and edgy programs that now completes your viewing habit from daytime, primetime, to late evening. TV5 rockets seven new shows high in the night sky on its Late Night Trip keeping everyone up at 11:30 p.m. since its pilot episode last July 20, 2009.

The Late Night Trip shows were launched in Mag:net Cafe at Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City on August 18, 2009.

MONDAY, 11:30 pm. A male magazine program, Urban Tribe celebrates the different interests of men every Monday, showcasing inspiring stories of Progressive Pinoys marching and firing up the torch of modern virile life. Hosted by five talented men Minco Fabregas (son of Jaime Fabregas), Stephan Loewenstein, Alvin Cornista, Danger Sanchez, and Marcus Maguigad, who make up the Fiesta House bandTribomanila’, the show aims to showcase the strength of the modern Pinoy persona in different urban and social settings.


TUESDAY, 11:30 pm. Discover the delicious secret of a good authentic Pinoy recipe by journeying through our very own rich culture in Promdi Chef, giving you a taste of the best of Visayan food served by Chef Jose Mari Gaston every Tuesday.

WEDNESDAY, 11:30 pm. Automotive junkies will park their speedy cruisin' machine on the one-stop program about motoring and motorsports lifestyle of the on-the-go Pinoy, Stoplight TV, hosted by DJ Matt Montoya-Yngson and co-executive producer Eggay Quisada, with Stoplight Angels Mayone Bakunawa, Love-Love Tioseco, and Ardge Barbaso.

THURSDAY, 11:30 pm. Hang out with the coolest chefs every Thursday in How ‘Bout My Place Tonight?, a cooking show that makes culinary masterpieces appear like practical arts as Executive Chef of Embassy Cuisine, Fernando Aracama, and Head of Bistro Group of Restaurants, Chef John Cu- Unjieng, discuss the latest in the food industry and the meatiest topics in the hippest restaurants in the metro.

FRIDAY, 11:30 pm. Be the first to hear reviews, cheat codes and gaming hints every Friday with Sam YG in the show that will excite all gamers and non-gamers alike—MOG (More On Gaming) TV, the techy show that features the hottest online games in the industry and the latest console games, gadgets and events.

At 12 midnight on weekdays, the humor of Jojo Alejar in Jojo A. All The Way keeps the laughter-lamp burning while it prepares and stimulates you to pull an all-nighter at 12:30 am with Insomnia, the hottest interactive game show to accompany you through the night beginning September 2009.


Celebrate the station’s birthday and success on its Happy One Year Anniversary by spending your weeknights enjoying these hip and savvy shows on the Late Night Trip, entertaining you every 11:30 p.m. onwards, only on TV5.
