NBDB and PBBY hold "Umuulan ng Libro: Philippine Children’s Book Summit" | July 21, 2015

What was your favorite children’s book as a child? Do you still remember Pinang who turned into a strange yellow fruit with a hundred eyes? What about the fight between the turtle and the monkey? Do you remember whom you rooted for?

On July 21, 2015, the National Book Development Board (NBDB), in partnership with the Philippine Board on Books for Young People (PBBY), is holding a celebration for the National Children’s Book Day called “Umuulan ng Libro: Philippine Children’s Book Summit.”

Call for Application: New illustrator pool for Ang INK

Ang Ilustrador ng Kabatan (Ang INK) is now accepting applications for new members for 2015. DEADLINE: March 8, 2015, 11:59 PM.

REQUIREMENTS:

(1)  Portfolio Sample: 

• Individual images should at least be 1000px on one side, 72 dpi, JPG or PNG. 

• Compile all 5 of your works in 1 PDF. File should not exceed 7mb.

• PDF name should follow the format: INKAPP15-yourname-PORTFOLIO.
