Linkin Park to perform on Sept 25 at the Grand Prix Season Singapore

Linkin Park is one of the main acts in this year’s Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) and I would really want to see them perform live. From Agoura Hills, California, the American rock band has risen to fame since they were formed in 1996 with their debut album, Hybrid Theory. Every song they create has always been a hit in the American Billboard charts.

I’m no fan of any heavy metal music, but Linkin Park’s music is different. They have fused nu metal and rap metal genres to produce a densely layered style in many of their songs such as "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora." They also tried exploring on other genres/ styles in Minutes to Midnight, a studio album released in 2007.

The Formula One Race at the Grand Prix Season Singapore

It was in June 2007 when I first had a taste of visiting a country outside the Philippines - that’s Singapore. I fell in love with the country’s culture, food, people, educational system, city scape, transportation system, technology and the arts! I have never visited Singapore since (and haven’t visited any other country just yet) so I wasn’t able to see the latest development the country has done, and never witnessed any preparation for the Grand Prix and more so the event itself.
