Miss Philippines Ann Lorraine Colis was crowned Miss Globe 2015 held at Rose Theater in Toronto, Canada on October 8, 2015. Colis bested the other 53 beautiful candidates across the globe.
This 42nd edition of the pageant was held in Canada for the very first time, and first time for the Philippines to compete.
From Mexico, Pampanga, Colis was crowned Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism 2015 last March 15 in the Binibining Pilipinas 2015 Pageant and was supposed to compete for China this year. But Binibining Pilipinas CEO Stella Araneta appointed her just last September to be Bb. Pilipinas-Globe 2015. She was the first representative from the Philippines and she won!
Toronto is Canada's largest city, the fourth largest in North America, and home to a diverse population of about 2.8 million people. The duration of Miss Globe ran from September 20 to October 11.
