CCP Library waives entrance fee

RESEARCHERS, students and teachers and the general public may now enter the Cultural Center of the Philippines Library free of charge.

The free admission policy was recently adopted by the CCP management in order to provide the public with free access to the CCP library collection, facilities and services. In doing so, the CCP hopes to augment the lack of materials and resources in public school libraries. The CCP also seeks to contribute to the government’s mass education.

Fees will still apply for photocopying, scanning, dubbing, listening and viewing services.

The CCP Library has one of the finest arts and culture collections. It offers  books, journals, magazines, manuscripts, musical scores, film and theater scripts, audio and video tapes of events and performances, calendars, maps, phono records, photographs, posters, slides, documentary films and special collections of artists namely, Dalisay Aldaba, Lino Brocka, Rustica Carpio, Monino Duque, Otoniel Gonzaga, Lucrecia Kasilag, Felicitas Radaic, Trinidad Tarrosa-Subido, Oscar Yatco, Francisco Feliciano, Jerry Dadap, Ernestina Crisologo-Jose, Lilia Reyes, Manuel Villar and other renowned personalities like Carolina Afan, Alejandro Hufana, Imelda Marcos, Delfin Manlapaz, Valerio Nofuente and Domingo Abella.
