Everybody loves pizza. Pizza pizzerias sprout everywhere in malls, in our neighborhoods and in practically every area you can find a pizza store or resto. But what makes each different from the rest is the taste and the presentation. I was fortunate to have been invited to a small gathering to try out Angel's Pizza Pasta Combo food offerings for the first time on June 8, 2010 located at Bel Air, Makati City. Angel's Pizza Pasta Combo is the new name of the now-defunct Domino's Pizza which I also loved for many years.

Everyone cannot imagine that when texting has invaded the mobile phones, it started with an unlimited sending with a very cheap monthly plan. Then came the metered plan charging each user at Php 0.25 per text message sent. Telecommunications companies were surprised of how Filipinos have embraced this texting phenomena that made us the texting capital of the world. Until these companies have thought of escalating the charge per text at 50 cents to a peso.

Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA) and Kraft Foods Philippines (KFP) broke a Guinness World Record last December 14, 2009 for successfully pulling off 5,845 unique cheese-infused dishes. It has been almost three years since India last held the 2007 record for creating 4,668 dishes using cheese as one of the ingredients. The prestigious school alongside the country’s well-loved cheese brand has set a notable milestone in the culinary world. Now, MIHCA and Kraft Foods Philippines marked another groundbreaking first as they launch Café 5845 – the first cheese café in the world that will serve the most number of cheese dishes at 5845. I can't think of anything that can surpass that.
